As our base from which all tours and experiences start and end, we have chosen Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam by Westcord: a new, beautiful hotel, located at the Java Island, from which ships sailed to the Dutch East Indies in the bygone centuries.
Hotel Jakarta is close to the Amsterdam Central Station, but away from the busy city center, and offers great views over Amsterdam and the river IJ. The hotel has an indoor pool and subtropical garden and will provide calm and tranquility in peaceful surroundings to relax after the busy congress days.

Home of the Dutch Stoomvaart Maatschappij Nederland, which sailed to the Dutch East Indies and back with people, post and products.
After impoverishment, the island was rebuild in the 90’s and became a modern residential area and architectonic pearl in the water IJ. Water and green go hand in hand. Five inner gardens are made, all referring to the Indonesian destination of the ships that left here. The fifth garden is the lovely green middle point of hotel Jakarta.
