Morning & Afternoon

A day in the country.

A trip to Haarlem, a small and quiet city located half an hour from Amsterdam. This city is home to Teylers Museum, the oldest museum of the Netherlands, with special collections of eighteenth-century scientific instruments (for example, Van Marum’s large electricity machine) and master drawings. We will visit the – usually closed – library and print rooms.

Lunch will be served at (to be confirmed)

Teylers Museum

Evening

In the heart of Amsterdam, you will find the West-Indisch Huis, a beautiful building with a unique history that dates back to the seventeenth century. We will conclude our Congress with a farewell dinner and party in this unique location.
