Morning & Afternoon
A tour through Amsterdam by canal boat, followed by a visit to the Scheepvaartmuseum, our National Maritime Museum.
The chief librarian invites us to a special exhibition of highlights.
In small groups, we tour the museum, see the atlases and globes of the Dutch Golden Age, and hear tales of exploration and discovery. Board a lifesize East Indiaman, try the hammocks, and fire a cannon!
